Day 1 - #Bestof2019
This year I spent close to 4 months overseas visiting some wonderful and terrible and boring and weird places. I’ve been sifting through thousands of photos and videos and figured I’d share a highlight every day until New Year’s. Thank you for indulging me.
To kick it off, this is one of my favorite photos ever. I’m not a technically skilled photographer and in this instance I was trying to copy a photo I liked of Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. It didn’t end up at all how I wanted but when I looked at the result it felt like I captured three girl ghosts just as they realized someone could see them. Yes, they haunt me now but we sing fun songs and fight inter-dimensional demons together so it all worked out.
Tokyo is one of the best places in the world and I think you’d really like it.
